Founded by Cristóbal Balenciaga in Paris in 1937, the Maison is considered one of the great haute couture schools of the twentieth century for its constructive rigor and innovation in silhouettes.

Since 2025, the creative direction has been entrusted to Pierpaolo Piccioli, who brings his own sartorial sensibility and research into form to the Maison, which is also reflected in the eyewear collection.
